Idyllic Institute of Management is the “Best Commerce and Management institute of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh” is working for holistic development of the students. Every student deserves excellent academics along with extended curricular engagement facilities to serve the society.

The governance of Idyllic Institute of Management is participatory and involved the participation of various stakeholders for imparting holistic education. For active participation of students and honing the leadership skills, institution has established various clubs and committees in 2015 as independent bodies. As per recommendation of IQAC the institution introduced Skill Development Cell (SDC) in 2019 and encompassed all clubs and students’ council into it. All activities or programs organized by different clubs of the institutions outside the conventional classroom environment to improve students’ learning experiences are covered under extension / outreach activities. 

Role of Skill Development Cell (SDC)

The SDC is tasked with managing the institution’s extracurricular calendar and ensuring the smooth operation of the Election Commission, Student Council, and all student representative bodies at the Institute under the able guidance of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). The Skill Development Cell acts as a supervisor and mentor for the Student Representative Bodies at Idyllic Institute of Management. It serves as the reporting authority for the Student Council and is responsible for ensuring that the Student Representative Bodies operate independently and self-reliantly. Skill Development Cell is a body created in the year 2019 with the vision to expand the ambit of the Student Representative Bodies and to provide them guidance in strengthening their presence in the institution. The student representation bodies works directly under the able guidance of Skill Development Coordinators. The Skill Development Coordinators are responsible for managing the extra co-curricular calendar of the institution. The Skill Development Cell works directly under the guidance of the principal. Currently overall 16 clubs, Election Commission and Student Council is working under the SDC.

• Number of Domain Related Clubs – 06

1. “सारथी” The Human Resource Club: This club focuses on developing HR skills, fostering leadership, and enhancing talent management through workshops, seminars, and networking events.
2. “कोष” The Finance Club: This club is dedicated to financial literacy, investment strategies, and market analysis, offering activities like stock trading simulations and finance workshops.
3. “विपणन” The Marketing Club: This club promotes marketing expertise through branding, digital marketing, and advertising initiatives, organizing campaigns and case study competitions.
4. “शिखर” The Entrepreneurship & Recruitment club: This club encourages entrepreneurial thinking and recruitment skills, supporting startups and hosting pitch events and job fairs.
5. “संसाधन” The Production & Operation Club: This club concentrates on production efficiency, supply chain management, and operations, conducting industry visits and process optimization projects.
6. “तंत्र” The Information Technology Club: This club explores IT innovations, coding, and tech trends, organizing hackathons, tech talks, and software development projects.

• Total Number of activities: 62

Institution in known for its academics and co-curricular activities in Indore city, The Education Hub of MP having both IIT and IIM.  From 2021 to 2024, various domain clubs have actively organized a total of 62 activities, showcasing their commitment to fostering skill development and engagement among students. Below is a summary of the contributions made by each club:

1. सारथि (The Human Resource Club): Organized 11 activities, focusing on enhancing HR skills and leadership development.
2. कोष (The Finance Club): Conducted 11 activities, promoting financial literacy and strategic decision-making.
3. विपणन (The Marketing Club): Hosted 10 activities, emphasizing innovative marketing strategies and brand management.
4. शिखर (The Entrepreneurship & Recruitment Club): Organised 9 activities, encouraging entrepreneurial thinking and career opportunities.
5. संसाधन (The Production & Operation Club): Led with 13 activities, concentrating on operational efficiency and production management.
6. तंत्र (The Information Technology Club): Organized 8 events, advancing technical skills and IT innovation.

These diverse activities reflect the vibrant and dynamic environment created by the domain clubs, contributing significantly to the holistic development of the student community over the assessment period.

Between 2021 to 2024, the various functional clubs at Idyllic Institute of Management have played a vital role in enriching the academic and extracurricular landscape through a diverse range of engaging activities in which 148 National and International institutions actively participated in flagship activities of six domain related clubs, reflecting a broad spectrum of academic and professional interests. It provide a platform to cater the student diversity and honing leadership styles inter relation and exchange of ideas. 

• Number of industry bodies involved – 35

Present demands of industry academic collaboration to identify the need and to prepare the professionals as per the requirement of industry Institutions. Domain clubs place a major role to maintain the industry academia relationship. As a best commerce and Management Institute of MP Industry people are invited for guest lectures Seminars Workshop and conferences. Total 35 Industry bodies are involved in the activities of Domain clubs which shows the perfect blend of skill and knowledge required by Industries.

• Number of Professional bodies involved-43

Running some successful programs in Management Commerce and Humanity. Institution have collaboration with Professional bodies like IMA, Chamber of Commerce, Association of Principals CA CS and Senior professionals from various organizations who equally contribute in successful operation of the Activities. Students get the opportunity to follow the professional ethics and the behavioral approach. Overall, 43 Professional bodies are associated during the assessment period.

• Number of Hackathons / Workshop conducted- 07

Institution established अस्तित्व The incubation Centre in association with MSME. Institutions Innovation Council and Entrepreneurship Club Club organizes various Idea generation Activities and encourage students to participate in Hackathon Workshop on project preparation, idea to execution are real-time exercises. Different techniques are used to occurs on the group discussion, Innovation and design thinking, Boot camp are the most required   tool by the students The domain clubs organised 07 Workshop and students participated in Hackathon organised by Host Institutes under the Umbrella of MSME.
