Idyllic Institute of Management as institution of Global Excellence transformed itself into a Prominent ICT enabled campus after Covid-19 Pandemic due to urge of excessive inclusion of AI & technology with a total of 168 Computer Systems/ Laptops and 41 Ipads. Gradually improving IT Services at IDYLLIC due to establishment of ज्ञानकोश- The Microsoft Learning Centre, कल्पवृक्ष -The NPTEL Learning Centre, अस्तित्व – The MSME Incubation Learning Centre and other certification courses provided to the students. Further, the IT services at IDYLLIC are constantly upgraded. Following are the major technological facilities provided in the institutions:
- High Speed Wi-Fi enabled Campus:
With this resource, students can connect to the Internet at high speed and without interruption anywhere on campus, including classrooms, all of the buildings, and all of the playgrounds. The institute has a dedicated fiber optic line connection—which began at 2 MBPS and progressively extended to 80 MBPS and 50 MBPS line—with an internet connectivity of 130(80+50) MBPS.
- Thematic Interactive Classes:
Every classroom, conference room, and auditorium has the newest technology available, including digital sound systems, microphones, and LCD projectors with Wi-Fi and the ability to develop successful online material through Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). Modern technology, such as digital sound systems, video projectors, and cameras for video conferences, makes it easier to record lectures and conduct live classes in the audio-visual room. 2500 active users can participate in meetings at once thanks to the institution’s subscription to the MS-Team application, which has a total of 1000000 licenses.
- Communication & Language Laboratory:
In order to make foreign language learning more efficient than it would otherwise be, IDYLLIC has a language lab with mechanical and electronic equipment as well as new tools and software. Students are taught a variety of foreign languages, including English, French, and German. Students and faculty members use it efficiently for a variety of self-improvement and soft skill development activities
- E-resources (Digital Library):
- IDYLLIC’s library services include a fully automated digital library that has 20 computer systems installed, including ERP Accsoft 2.0. Without a librarian’s assistance, library users can swiftly and simply search for materials using the OPAC system. The institute has a subscription to the online database N-list INFLIBNET in an effort to assist students in navigating the law more quickly and intelligently. Software for detecting plagiarism, such as Plagiarism Checker-X and ORIGINAL (URKUND), is available at the library.
- The institute uses Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to digitize processes such as tracking student attendance, assigning courses, creating hall passes, issuing library books, creating employee databases and payrolls, and keeping track of all the purchases the institute has made.
- Technology for Power Backup: With several buildings housing sophisticated academic research and analysis equipment hidden behind numerous doors, the institute has a strong power foundation supported by a 125 KV generator and four online UPSs. In addition to reducing danger, this preserves cyber security and safeguards electricity equipment.
- Technology for identification: Biometric machines that use fingerprints or finger prints are placed in Blocks D and E to record the attendance of the students living in the dorms. Identity cards with barcodes are given to students so that they can easily check out books from the library.
